What You'll Experience
No Two Days Are Exactly The Same
During your placement, you’ll work alongside experienced hand therapists and gain insight into the day-to-day realities of specialist private practice.
Throughout your placement, you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, engage in learning opportunities and develop confidence in your clinical skills.
You may have opporturities to:
- Observe patient assessments and treatment sessions
- Learn how clinicians approach clinical reasoning and decision-making
- Gain exposure to upper limb injury management and rehabilitation
- Participate in case discussions and professional conversations
- Observe custom splint fabrication techniques
